Terms of sale and use

Orders

When you check out, you are making an offer to buy the books in your cart. We accept that offer when your payment is taken. You will then receive an order confirmation by e-mail. Please make sure the e-mail address and shipping address you give are correct.

Prices and payment

All prices are in US dollars. Shipping is added at checkout, and any sales tax that applies to your order is shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is processed by Stripe. Prices can change at any time, but a change does not affect an order we have already accepted.

Availability

We sell bargain stock in limited quantities, and we cannot guarantee that a book shown on the site is still available. If a book becomes unavailable after you have paid, we cancel that book, or the whole order if nothing else is in it, and refund what you paid for it in full.

Pricing and listing errors

We work to keep prices and book details accurate, but mistakes can happen. If a book was listed with a wrong price or wrong details, we may cancel the order, or the affected item, and refund you in full.

Shipping and returns

Delivery is covered by our shipping page, and returns, refunds and cancellations by our returns & refunds page. Both form part of these terms. How we handle personal information is described in our privacy policy.

Site content

The BiblioRack name, logo, site design and the text we write belong to BiblioRack. Book titles, cover images and descriptions belong to their publishers, authors or other rights holders and are shown to identify the books we sell. You may use the site to browse and to shop for yourself; you may not copy or reuse its content for commercial purposes without permission.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided as it is, and we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, BiblioRack is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or from an order, and our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be limited by agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at BiblioRack's place of business, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version posted on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
